Family Of Man Found On St Andrews Street Thank Public For Support
The family of a man found with serious injuries in St Andrews have asked people to keep him in their thoughts and prayers.
The 26-year-old - known only as Gerry - was discovered on Rose Lane in the early hours of Sunday, he's still being treated at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.
Enquires into what exactly happened are continuing although it's thought he sustained them accidentally.
This statement has been released at the family's request:
"Our family and Jen (injured man's girlfriend) would like to thank all our friends and family for their continued support.
Thanks are also extended to the police and hospital staff for their continued efforts. Messages of support are very much appreciated. We ask that you keep Gerry in your thoughts and prayers."
