Detectives in Dundee look to trace man following break-in

Detectives in Dundee are keen to trace a man, seen acting suspiciously around the time of a break-in in the city.

A house in Balgayview Gardens was targeted sometime between 10.30pm on Wednesday, September 7, and 4am on Thursday, September 8.

Items stolen included a three-figure sum of cash, a quantity of DVDs, a ‘Star Wars’ figurine set, chocolate, cigarettes and alcohol.

Officers are keen to trace a man who was seen acting suspiciously in the area at the time. He is described as being aged between 25 and 30, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, of slim build with short light brown hair.

He was wearing a black zip up hooded top and grey tracksuit bottoms and was last seen on Lochee Road at about 4.15am.

Anyone with information that could assist officers with their enquiries into these crimes is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.
