Body Found As Search Continues For Missing Fisherman
A body's been found on a Fife beach, as the search continues for a missing fisherman.
It was found by a member of the public at around 9.30am today (Fri 28th Aug) in Lower Largo.
Police say enquiries are ongoing to establish the identity, but say the family of missing David Stead have been informed as part of the ongoing investigation.
The 47 year old hasn't been seen since his boat overturned on the Firth of Forth earlier this month.
He'd been out with two other men - Birrell Stewart and Jason Buchan.
Mr Stewart was rescued from the water, but later passed away in hospital.
The body of Jason Buchan was found at a beach in West Weymss earlier this week.
