Police appeal with CCTV image after house fire

Staffordshire Police have released a CCTV image of two men they would like to speak to following a house fire in Stoke-on-Trent.

Officers were called to an address near King Street just before 1.30am on Monday 14 November following reports of a house fire.

They attended the scene alongside colleagues from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service and paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service.

Firefighters extinguished the fire and made sure the house was safe whilst we evacuated nearby buildings.

Two children and a woman were assessed by paramedics at the scene and were taken to hospital as a precaution.

A 22-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, was arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life.

He has since been released under conditional police bail while inquiries continue.

Police are keen to speak to the two men pictured below, and anyone who may have any information which can help with the investigation.
