Woman dies after collision in North Staffordshire
There was the one car involved.
Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman died after a collision in Madeley Heath.
Emergency services were called to Bowsey Wood on Main Road, the A531, to reports of a single-vehicle collision yesterday morning (Sunday).
The driver of the car, a woman in her 80s, was found with life threatening injuries.
Sadly, she died at the scene and her next of kin have been informed.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone with any CCTV or dashcam footage from the area or those with any information which could help collision investigators.
