Two men charged after stabbing in Stoke-on-Trent
It happened during disorder in Hanley.
Two men have been charged after a man was stabbed in Stoke-on-Trent.
Police were called to Trinity Street in Hanley to reports of disorder just after 4am yesterday morning (Friday 21 July). A man in his late teens had been stabbed.
The victim is still in hospital receiving treatment.
Usama Wajid, 23, of Stoke-on-Trent, has been charged with Section 18 – wounding with intent, possess an offensive weapon in a public place and possession of a controlled drug of Class B – cannabis/cannabis resin.
Zain Kabir, 25, of Stoke-on-Trent, has been charged with Section 18 – grievous bodily harm with intent and theft.
Both men appeared at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre this morning (Saturday 22 July) and have been remanded into custody.
