Staffordshire man handed two-year community order over drugs offences

A Tamworth man has been handed a two-year community order after being sentenced for drugs and criminal property charges.
Marvin Rosati, aged 18, of Stonepit, was stopped and searched at about 8pm on 5 November, 2020, on Hamble in Belgrave and found to have two mobile phones on him. A search of Rosati at his home address uncovered a package of Class A drugs in his underwear containing about 20 wraps of heroin and 40 wraps of crack cocaine.
He was charged with possession with intention to supply heroin, possession with intention to supply crack cocaine and possessing criminal property (cash) and was sentenced at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Thursday (15 April).
As well as the 24-month community order, Rosati was issued with 30 days’ rehabilitation activity requirement, 12 months’ of mental health treatment requirement, and a 12-week electronically monitored curfew where he is not allowed to leave the house between 10pm and 6am. He was also made to forfeit £381 under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
