Man taken to hospital after being stabbed in Newcastle town centre

Detectives are investigating after a man was stabbed in Newcastle town centre.

Police were called at 10.40pm last night (Sunday 7 November) to reports that a man had been stabbed on High Street, Newcastle, near to Barclays Bank.

The man, in his 30s, was taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital. His condition is not believed to be life threatening or changing.
