Man and woman arrested after firearm seized in Cannock
Police carried out a warrant at a property on Avon Road.
A man and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm after officers carried out a warrant in Cannock.
The warrant took place at 5.30am on Friday 5 March at a property on Avon Road.
A 31-year-old man, from Cannock, was arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm without a certificate and robbery.
A 23-year-old woman, also from Cannock, was arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm without a certificate.
Both remain in police custody.
