Man injured after being hit by a van in Longton
It happened at around 9.51 yesterday evening
A man is in hospital after being hit by a van in Longton.
Emergency services, including specialist medical teams, were called to King Street at 9.51 last night.
He was rushed to Royal Stoke University Hospital where he remains.
In a statement, West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "“On arrival, crews found a pedestrian and a van had been involved in a collision.
“The pedestrian, a man, was in a critical condition and ambulance crews immediately began administering advanced life support and advanced trauma care.
“He was conveyed on blue lights to Royal Stoke University Hospital with a BASICS doctor travelling on board to provide continued treatment en route.”
