Man left with 'potentially serious injuries' after falling from height in Hanley

A man's been rushed to hospital with 'potentially serious injuries' after falling from a building in Hanley.

Emergency services were called to Stafford Street just before lunchtime today.

The patient was treated at the scene before being taken to the Royal Stoke Hospital.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 11.28am to reports of a patient that had fallen from a height on Stafford Street, Hanley in Stoke on Trent.

"One ambulance, two paramedic officers and the Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) attended the scene. Upon arrival we found a man who had sustained potentially serious injuries.

"He received treatment from ambulance staff on scene. He was conveyed to Royal Stoke University Hospital for further assessment.”
