Man charged with attempted murder following Stoke-on-Trent stabbing

A man has been charged following the stabbing of another man in Stoke-on-Trent recently.
Police were called to a field opposite Abbey Road, in Hulton Abbey, at 8.11pm on Monday (10 July) following reports that a man had been stabbed.
Maksymilian Jagielski, 19, from Newcastle-under-Lyme, was arrested and has since been charged with attempted murder.
He is due to appear at North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (12 July).
The victim is being treated in hospital. The last update we had was that he was in a critical but stable condition.
