Man charged with attempted murder following Stoke stabbing

He's due to appear before magistrates today

A man of no fixed address will appear before magistrates after being charged with the attempted murder of a man in his 70s.

Steven Bull, 46, has been charged with attempted murder after officers were called to a report of a stabbing on Corporation Street, Stoke at around 6:35pm yesterday (31 July).

Bull has been remanded in custody to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Monday 2 August.

The male victim has been taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
