Man attacked with golf club in Stoke-On-Trent

The man, in his 40s, suffered a broken leg and facial injuries.

Staffordshire Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted with a golf club in Stoke-on-Trent.

Officers were called to London Road just after 11am on Thursday (5 January). West Midlands Ambulance Service also attended.

A man, in his 40s, was found with a broken leg and facial injuries having reportedly been assaulted with a golf club.

He was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are believed not to be life-threatening or life-changing.

The offender was described as a white man, of a slim build, around 6ft in height and with dark hair with blonde dye.
