Colourful makeover plans for Stoke canal bridge
It's in a bid to deter vandals
A Stoke canal bridge could get a colourful makeover in a bid to deter vandals from defacing it.
The Canal and River Trust has applied to the City Council to paint murals at Mill Bridge on the Trent and Mersey Canal at Middleport.
It comes as the same approach has been successful at other locations, with the Trust in charge of maintaining and reviewing it.
