Police investigating after Wolstanton corner shop ram raided

The offenders drove a transit van into the store front

Detectives are investigating after a Newcastle-under-Lyme Co-op was ram raided.

Police were called at 4am this morning (Friday 10 June) to reports of a break in on High Street, Wolstanton.

A transit van was used to cause damage to the store shutters.

The offenders stole the ATM cash-box before making off in a dark-coloured car.

An investigation is underway.
