Man charged after 'large quantity' of cannabis found in Stoke-on-Trent

A man's been charged after a large amount of cannabis was found inside a house in Stoke-on-Trent.

Staffordshire Police found the Class B drugs inside an address on Furnival Street, Cobridge yesterday.

22-year-old Blegis Cupa is due to appear at North Staffordshire Justice Centre today.

A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: "A man has been charged after a large quantity of cannabis was discovered at a property in Cobridge.

"Officers attended Furnival Street, Cobridge, yesterday (Tuesday 16 November).

"Blegis Cupa, 22, of Furnival Street, Cobridge, has been charged with producing controlled drug of Class B – cannabis and obstructing/resisting a constable in the execution of their duty.

"He is due to appear before magistrates at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Wednesday 17 November)."
