Woman arrested on suspicion of drink driving after crash in Fylde

Three people have been taken to hospital and a woman has been arrested after a crash in Fylde this morning.

Police were called to Fleetwood Road in Esprick at 6:45am.

Thankfully there were no serious injuries.

The 36-year-old woman remains in custody on suspicion of drink driving.

A spokesperson from Lancashire Police said: "Police were called at 6.45am to a report of a collision between a Vauxhall Vivaro van and a Lexus RX.

"Three people were taken to hospital but thankfully there were no serious injuries.

"A 36 year old woman was arrested on suspicion of drink driving.

"Enquiries are ongoing. The road was reopened at about 9.20am. Log 0170 refers."
