Two more arrests made after gunshots fired in Lancaster

It brings the number of people arrested so far up to seven

Two more men are being questioned by police after gunshots were fired in Lancaster last week.

It happened close to properties on Patterdale Road and Ennerdale Close at around 10:30pm on Wednesday 25 January.

A car was found damaged on Ennerdale Close and a BMW was driven away from the scene and found a short time later off Meldon Road in Heysham.

Officers think it was stolen from the Bay Horse area earlier the same evening.

Det Ch Insp Lee Wilson, of Lancashire Police, said:

"We can confirm a further two people have been arrested as we continue to investigate the circumstances around the discharge.

"Enquiries linked to further suspects are ongoing.

"We are continuing to appeal for CCTV, doorbell footage and dashcam footage from the area around the time of the offence.

"Please call us if you can help."
