Second man charged with death of Matthew Daulby in Ormskirk
He was found with serious stab wounds in July
A second man has been charged in connection with the murder of Matthew Daulby in Ormskirk.
Police were called to a disturbance on Railway Road at 12.05 on 29 July, where they found the 19 year old with serious stab wounds.
Matthew was rushed to hospital, and died a short time later.
Following enquiries, 20 year old Finley Cook, from Heskin Lane, Ormskirk, was arrested on July 29 on suspicion of murder and later released on conditional bail. He was re-arrested yesterday, and officers have now confirmed that he has been charged with murder.
He has been remanded into custody to appear before Preston Magistrates Court tomorrow morning.
In August, 18 year old Henry Houghton, of Barrison Green, Scarisbrick, was also charged with Matthew’s murder. He is remanded in custody to stand trial at Preston Crown Court in November.
Police are continuing to appeal for information in relation to Matthew's death. They particularly would like to speak to 19 year old Thomas Dures, who has links to Aughton and Liverpool.
