The body of Katie Foulds, who went missing earlier in the year, has been found at Bootle Dock in Merseyside.
The 22-year-old was last seen in St Annes on the 10th of February after going missing from her home in Blackburn.
Police were called to reports of a body at around 5.30pm on April 19th.
A Home Office post mortem was carried out to help identify the body. Although it initially proved inconclusive, further tests have confirmed that the body was that of the missing Lancashire woman.
Her death isn't being treated as suspicious.
Katie's family have been informed and are being supported by officers.
Lancashire police say:
"These are very sad and tragic circumstances and our thoughts remain with them at this difficult time."
