Lancashire man's jailed for having 500K of cocaine in his car boot

47 year old David Hudson has today (Thursday, March 28th) been sentenced to 56 months in prison after pleading guilty to possession with intent to supply cocaine and production of cannabis.

On 13th February 2024 police stopped a BMW Z4 as it travelled along the M55 towards Blackpool. Hudson admitted that there were drugs in his vehicle and during a search officers located six kilograms of high purity cocaine with a street value of almost half a million pounds.

Hudson was arrested and when officers searched his home address on Mythop Road in Blackpool they found a substantial cannabis growing set up.
