A man from Blackburn will appear in court, charged with causing death by dangerous driving, after two people died in a crash at Brockholes Brow in Preston.
Mohmed Salma Patel, who's 35 and from Blackburn, is accused of two counts of causing death by dangerous driving.
The crash happened in April last year on Brockholes Brow when a BMW, driving towards the city centre, ploughed into a group of girls crossing the road.
23 year old Rachel Murphy, and Shelby Maher, who was 17, both from Preston, were killed in the crash.
A 15 year old girl also suffered serious injuries and was treated in hospital.
The court date and location have yet to be confirmed.
