On August 12 2022, Jack Jermy-Doyle, a 25-year-old man, was attacked on Harris Street and Birley Street in Preston around 2:40 AM after a fight with two men.

He was taken to the hospital but passed away just two days later on August 14.

Jack's girlfriend, Kaitlyn Booth, from Burnley has created a GoFundMe page to raise money for the charity 'One Punch UK' and to bring awareness to the harm that a single punch can cause.

Kaitlyn plans to participate in Tough Mudder on August 12, 2023, in memory of Jack. Kaitlyn hoped to do Tough Mudder with Jack, but unfortunately, that is no longer possible.

The goal is to collect funds, but the most important thing is to raise awareness.

The family of Jack expressed their grief, saying they are devastated by his loss.

Kaitlyn has set a fundraising goal of £2,000, and the donations have surpassed it with a total of £2,090 at the time of writing.

Two men were arrested in connection with the incident but were later released on police bail while the investigation continues.
