Person treated by paramedics following Blackpool house fire
Emergency services were called in the early hours of this morning
One person's been treated by paramedics after a house fire in Blackpool.
Emergency services were called to a property on Ascot Road in the early hours of this morning.
Firefighters were at the property for approximately one hour.
A Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Two fire engines from Blackpool attended a domestic building fire on Ascot Road in Blackpool.
"Firefighters use four breathing apparatus, one hose reel and one Positive Pressure Ventilation unit to extinguish the fire, leading one casualty to safety and handed them over in to the care North West Ambulance Service.
"Crews were in attendance for around an hour."
