The famous light display is back outside this year. Here's everything you need to know.
It's the brightest night in Blackpool's calendar - and this year's switch-on party promises to be no different.
The town's famous light display will run from September 1st to January 1st with over a million bulbs lighting up the coastline.
Thousands expected are drawn to Blackpool to see the show as its the first time the switch-on has been held outside since 2019.
Here's what you need to know ahead of this years event.
When time is the event?
The build up will begin at 7pm, with a float parade scheduled to start at around 7:30.
The main celebrations will take place at the Tower Festival Headland and will start between 8pm and 9:30pm.
Do I need a ticket?
The whole of this year's event is free, with no tickets required. Just turn up and enjoy the show.
What's going on?
Sophie Ellis-Bextor is switching on the lights this year, with the singer performing a handful of songs.
There's also going to be a free family party with live music and entertainment, as well as a specially commissioned sound and light show on Blackpool Tower before a firework finale over the seafront.
Where to park?
This year's switch-on is the first outdoors since 2019, so it is expected to be very busy.
Car parks close to The Tower and the promenade will fill up early, and vehicles are being advised to park further out of town and walk in.
All of the council operated car parks in the town centre use the PayByPhone system. Meaning you can pay for parking via an app or over the phone.
