Coronavirus vaccine appointments open up to more over-18s in Preston

The City Council says it's subject to availability.

Pfizer Covid-19 vaccines are now available for more people over the age of 18 in Preston.

Preston City Council tweeted to say, subject to availability, the jabs are now available for anybody aged 18 and above.

It means that anybody who lives, works or cares for somebody with a health condition can now come forward to be vaccinated.

Preston City Council said: "If you or a family member has a health condition, then your whole family could be eligible.

"Check eligibility & book by calling: 07553 708240 between 10-4, Monday to Friday. Please do not leave a voicemail message.

"Alternatively email Kirsty.berry7@nhs.net or text 07553 708240 with your full name, date of birth and postcode to receive an appointment booking link.

"Please note: this email and phone number should be used ONLY for Covid-19 vaccination requests."
