Man from Skelmersdale among three charged with conspiracy to import drugs
Three men - including a 55-year old from Skelmersdale - have been charged with conspiracy to import drugs.
Officers from TITAN, the North West regional organised Crime Unit executed a warrant at industrial premises in Speke on Merseyside at 6.15am on Friday as part of a joint investigation with Lancashire Police.
Three men were arrested and a large quantity of cocaine with an estimated street value of £13.9 million was recovered from the scene, and further searches in Skelmersdale resulted in a seizure of heroin valued at £100,000 and around £60,000 in cash.
Stephen Andrew Kelly, 55 years, of Charnock, Skelmersdale has been charged with conspiracy to import cocaine and possession with intent to supply heroin.
Bradley Stephen Kelly, 35 years of Vernon Way, Bloxwich, Walsall has been charged with conspiracy to import cocaine.
Polish national Grezegorz Krzyk, 37 years, has been charged with conspiracy to import cocaine.
They have been charged and remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court on Monday 26 February 2018
