The body of a man has been found in a park in Preston.
The discovery was made by a member of the public in Avenham Park, near the city centre, this morning.
There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
The man's identity has not yet been released.
A spokesperson from Lancashire Police said: "We were called to Avenham Park, Preston, at 8.15am today (July 16) following reports a member of the public had found a man unresponsive in a wooded area.
"Emergency services attended and, sadly, the man was pronounced deceased.
"His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be passed onto HM Coroner in due course."
