Biker seriously injured after Ormskirk crash
Any witnesses are being asked to come forward.
A man has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after a crash involving the motorbike he was riding and a car, in Ormskirk.
It happened on Scarth Hill Lane this afternoon.
Police are asking any witnesses to get in touch.
Statement from Lancashire Police:
We were called at 1.40pm to Scarth Hill Lane to a report of an RTC between a car and a motorbike.
A man, the motorbike rider, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The road is currently closed while emergency services attend the incident.
Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact 101 quoting log reference 0845 of today's date.
