Two Preston men charged with attempted murder

Two men are due to appear in court later charged with attempted murder after a man was shot in Preston.

Police were called to an address on Bowlingfields back on July 11th at around 11.10pm, where a man in his 30s was found with serious gunshot wounds.

The man suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment and is now recovering.

Yesterday morning (Wednesday, March 2nd) police arrested two men at addresses in Preston and following consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service they were then charged with attempted murder that same afternoon.

Paul Matheson, 38, of Houldsworth Road, Preston and Daniel Quinn, 30, formerly of Holme Slack Lane, Preston are both due to appear before Preston Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Thursday, March 3rd)
