VIRGIN #RideWithPride Train comes to Blackpool North

Pride Blackpool are thrilled to announce that in partnership with Virgin Rail, the Virgin #RideWithPrideTrain will make its debut voyage to Blackpool North Station on Friday the 7th of June 2019 to coincide with Blackpool’s biggest ever Pride Weekend.

The #RideWithPride train, which boldly displays the Pride colours, highlights Virgin Trains’ and Blackpool’s passion for celebrating diversity and ensuring people can be themselves. The train will travel up and down the UK over the summer. It will also carry customers to the Pride events along the Virgin Trains route on the west coast making sure that supporters feel part of the festivities as soon as they step on board.

Departing London Euston at 08.54 on Friday the 7th of June, the Pride train will slide into Blackpool North station at 13.03 and will shine brightly with all the colours of the rainbow for 2 hours before returning on its journey to the nation’s capital. What a sensational start to Blackpool Pride weekend and the team behind this year celebrations are so happy to be working with Virgin Trains to raise awareness and celebrate the wonderful diversity and community spirit you will always find in Blackpool.

Pride Blackpool’s main event is on the Tower Headlands from 11.30am until 9pm on Saturday the 8th of June. Wristbands start at £10.50 per person and are available from www.PrideBlackpool.co.uk
