Two councillors have resigned from South Ribble Council's cabinet.

Two councillors have resigned from South Ribble Council's cabinet.

Moss Side Conservative Councillor Michael Green and Buckshaw and Worden's Caroline Moon say their positions have become untenable because of allegations made against them.

It's after an interim report was leaked accusing the council of putting young and vulnerable people at risk by failing to carry out the proper checks on drivers it went on to give taxi licenses to.
