Gorka Marquez reportedly needed dental surgery after two of his lower jaw front teeth were badly chipped when he was allegedly attacked by a gang of youths in Blackpool in November.
The Strictly star did not make a formal complaint to the police about the incident.
Lancashire police have checked the CCTV footage from the area and found nothing.
A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: "We have carried out a proportionate investigation which is now closed. No arrests have been made. "We have never received a complaint from the victim and any injuries sustained would seem to be of a minor nature. "We will always take reports of crime seriously and would urge anyone who has been a victim to come forward so they can assist us in our inquiries.''
The 26-year-old Spaniard was in the Lancashire resort for a live edition of the show from Blackpool Tower Ballroom when he was the victim of an 'unprovoked incident'.
