Hundreds of people packed into Preston Minister for a special service to commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day.
It was led by the Mayor of Preston Margaret McNanus, who urged people in Lancashire to learn from the Holocaust so it never happens again.
The theme of this year's Holocaust Memorial Day is tackling hate crime.
Preston City Council is backing the "Don't Stand By" campaign which is encouraging people to not be afraid and report cases.
A new report has also revealed that one in four of us witness a hate crime.
