After calls from the police and even the NSPCC to seriously think about safety when playing Pokemon Go - now the first ever "pokewalk" event has been organised in Lancashire.

The virtual reality game has hit the headlines over recents weeks with concerns over youngsters putting themselves in dangerous situations

Hundreds of people have already signed up to the pokewalk across Preston which is being held next Saturday.

We went on a on a special Rock FM "pokewalk" with Michael Walton who is one of the organisers. He says you can easily catch pokemon safely:

The Pokewalk is taking place on Saturday 30th July and starts from 2pm in Winckley Square, will take in Avenham Park and will finish at Roper Hall pub.
