Energy company Cuadrilla's appealing to drill for shale gas at two sites between Preston and Blackpool after Lancashire County Council rejected the controversial plans last summer.

It's been a mammoth public hearing that's been taking place in Blackpool - it's gone on for more than five weeks with more than 20 experts giving evidence.

Hundreds of residents and business owners in Lancashire have been having their say on whether they're for or against Fracking:

On today's final day of the hearing, residents groups, Lancashire County Council and Cuadrilla are giving their closing statements to the inquiry's inspector Wendy McKay before she puts together her report.

Hundreds of protestors are gathering outside of Bloomfield Road this afternoon after the inquiry has ended.
