As the inquiry into Fracking in Lancashire is coming to an end, those for and against it have been having their final say.

Energy company Cuadrilla are appealing against Lancashire County Council's decision to refuse drilling for shale gas last summer.

They want to drill for shale gas at two sites between Preston and Blackpool.

Over the last five weeks, the Fracking inquiry has heard from those both for it and against it.

Today was the last chance for those on both sides to sum up their arguments for the inquiry's inspector.

It was a little louder than usual as more than 100 anti-fracking campaigners protested outside Blackpool Football club this morning.

The inquiry's due to finish next Wednesday - Lancashire County Council, Cuadrilla and the Roseacre Awareness Group will be among those giving their final statements.

The local government minister Greg Clarke will make the final decision this summer.
