London Fashion Week gets off to a seafaring start with four outrageously dressed models taking to the streets of London.

With impressive nautical inspired hairstyles the models took the London Underground and walked around the busy areas of Oxford Street and Soho to show off 'the latest trend'.

The ‘Captain’s Collection’ was unveiled this morning, including a giant beehive octopus, a shipwrecked galleon, a nautical ship's wheel and a pirates’ plank - a gravity-defying combover.

Catching the eye of commuters and celebrities alike the models caused quite a stir on Friday morning.

Made in Chelsea star Jamie Laing spotted the troupe in London exclaiming on Twitter, "has fashion gone mad?!""

Whilst on the underground some of the commuters were very surprised by what they saw. Check out the man on the left!

This unique stunt was created by Captain Morgan, the spirit brand which wants to put the fun back into fashion. It took a team of stylists four weeks to prepare the hairstyles using a mixture of the models’ real hair, props and extensions.

London Fashion Week continues until the 20th September 2016.
