The Chase contestant mocked for 'abysmal' answer
Contestant makes embarrassing mistake
The Chase has had its fair share of dumb answers on the show, but the most recent may have just won the crown for the silliest answer yet.
Contestant Barbara from Swansea was actually doing well until one question left her completely stumped, leaving viewers baffled at her response.
Show host Bradley Walsh asked Barbara "Haymarket and Par are main train stations in which Scottish City?"
Unbelievably she responded saying ‘London’.

Of course fans of the show were not going to let her live the embarrassing blunder down and took to Twitter to express their shock at her answer.
The show, which has grown in popularity since it first aired back 2009, has had its fair share of hilarious blunders leaving both contestants and the famous chasers red faced.
At the start of the year, a young student was forced to defend herself after fans dubbed her ‘the worst ever’ contestant after she failed to answer a single question correctly.
Hannah Mastrangelo responded to critics claiming she is not dumb as she has a gold Duke of Edinburgh award.

However, it’s not always the contestants who create humour for viewers. Just a few weeks ago Bradley Walsh collapsed in a fit of tears over a question and even more recently a war broke out between two contestants.
After one contestant chose to take the lower offer of £300, her teammate was not happy and called her a ‘wuss’ causing a very awkward moment on the show which didn’t go unnoticed by viewers.
