Two seriously injured in Wakefield stabbing
Police were called out to Upper Warrengate last night
A man and a 17 year old boy are in a critical condition in hospital after a stabbing in Wakefield last night.
Police were called to Grantley Street, off Upper Warrengate, at around 6:10pm last night.
Three men were arrested. A 37 year-old man and a 47-year-old man have since been released.
An 18 year-old man is still being questioned by officers.
Detective Chief Inspector Tony Nicholson of West Yorkshire Police said:
“This was a serious incident in which two young males have been seriously injured.
"I would appeal to anyone who saw this incident or who has information about it to contact police.”
