In October 2018, Ben and Gaynor's daughter, Kallipateira, was stillborn at 38 weeks pregnant.

Not even a year later, the couple experienced a miscarriage in May 2019 at 9 weeks of pregnancy.

They then set up the Kallipateira Moorhouse Foundation in memory of their daughter, to help save babies lives through research and support other parents who have experienced the death of a baby.

Ben's most recent challenge saw him walk the equivalent of 40 miles on Trooper Lane in Halifax.

He said:

"When our daughter died apart from a bereavement midwife, there was nothing, which is why as a dad, who had no support, I am trying to offer support for other dads through our charity."

He took on the challenge, despite still recovering from walking 150 miles non stop around the Greek island, Rhodes. His goal was to raise £20,000, so far he has raised over £5,000.

He tells us not reaching his target is another reason for doing more challenges.

The 38-year-old is raising money for Tommy's, which researches the causes and prevention of miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth.
