Train companies urge people not to travel
Major train companies running through West Yorkshire are asking people not to travel on the network today.
LNER, Northern and TransPennine are all expecting major delays and last minute cancellations because of Storm Eunice.
Anyone who is planning to travel is being told to check their journey before setting off.
Refunds are also being offered, and some tickets may be valid on other services.
Disruption on the roads
National Highways says there may be queues and delays on roads.
Earlier this week, they issued a warning for Leeds, due to strong crosswinds brought by Storm Dudley.
West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue asked drivers to "take extra care".
Snow expected in some parts
The Met Office said we could see snow in higher parts of West Yorkshire, after issuing a yellow weather warning for wind.
Their forecast says rain and snow are expected to fall on Friday afternoon, and we could see "widespread and severe gales".
A yellow weather warning means there's a risk some buildings could be damaged, and we could see powercuts.
