Samuel L. Jackson back in West Yorkshire for new Marvel series
The Hollywood actor has been spotted in Halifax
Samuel L. Jackson has returned to West Yorkshire for filming of the Marvel series Secret Invasion.
He's been spotted on set in Halifax, after filming scenes for the new Avengers spin-off in Leeds.
Jackson's expected to return as Nick Fury, a super-spy who brings heroes together to fight off villains.
The show is expected to premiere this year- and also stars Olivia Coleman and Game of Thrones' Emilia Clarke.
Cobie Smulders, who plays secret agent Maria Hill in the Avengers franchise, was also spotted on set.
Videos posted on social media appear to show a huge explosion being filmed at The Piece Hall, followed by people screaming.
It's thought West Yorkshire is standing in for Russia.
Disney+ describes the series as: "The crossover comic event series showcases a faction of shape-shifting Skrulls who have been infiltrating Earth for years."
They've not yet given a firm release date- but the series is said to be "coming soon."
