Police appeal after motorbike robbery in Cleckheaton

The victim had his bike stolen by two men when he stopped at a red light

Police are looking for three men after a motorcyclist was attacked in Cleckheaton last week and had his bike stolen.

It happened as the motorcyclist was travelling along Hunsworth Lane and stopped at a red light on 15 July 2021 at around 11.40pm.

He was then approached by two unknown men, who were travelling in a black estate car.

The men attacked the victim by pushing him off his bike. The yellow and black SYM Wolf was then ridden off in the direction of Whitechapel Road.

Police are looking for this yellow and black SYM Wolf bike, registration YG14 UHP

The victim wasn't seriously hurt during the incident.

Officers are keen to trace three men who were travelling in the estate car.

One of those who got out of the vehicle is described as wearing a light grey hoodie, being around 6ft tall with dark hair and in his 20s.

The other is described as around 6ft tall, in his 20s and wearing a hooded top.

A third person stayed inside the vehicle while the robbery happened.
