A man has been charged with murdering a woman in Bradford, after she was found dead in her flat early on Sunday (21st November).
Bori Benko was found stabbed in Sherborne Road in the Great Horton area in the early hours, and another woman was found with serious injuries.
She remains in hospital.
Bori, originally from Hungary, came to the UK as a youth worker in 2016.
Tributes have poured in for Bori, with her family saying she will "be very sadly missed by all her family and friends both in Hungary and the wider community, along with the staff and children at the school where she worked.”
She's also been called a "devoted Christian" by Bradford Cathedral, who say she was considering ordination.
In a statement, they wrote 'Bori has been a vital and energetic member of the Cathedral community for over three years and prior to that worked as a volunteer Youth worker in the parish of Lexden, Colchester.
Bori will be honoured and long remembered at the Cathedral for her enthusiastic, generous and infectious faith; her warmth and commitment to serve others.
Bori was a deeply committed Christian and was exploring the option of offering for ordination in the Church of England. She would have been confirmed this Sunday, 28th November.'
Meanwhile, The Reverend Matthew Simpkins of St. Leonards Church in Lexoden, wrote: 'We will remember Bori with great affection as someone with a warm, caring and loving personality.
She was known by her laughter and friendship, and through her faith and holiness.'
23-year-old Zbigniew Soj has now been charged with murder and attempted murder.
