Cyclist left with life threatening injuries after crash near to Bingley
Police are appealing for information
An investigation is underway after a cyclist has been left with life threatening injuries near to Bingley.
Police say a collision happened on Keighley Road yesterday morning, involving a cyclist and a car.
Police say a Suzuki then carried on without stopping at the scene of the collision.
A police spokesperson said:
"Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious collision which left a cyclist with life-threatening injuries.
"The collision happened on Keighley Road, north of Harden village, near Bingley, at 9:25am yesterday morning (11/6) and involved a pedal cycle and a Suzuki Baleno car.
"The car was travelling towards St Ives when it collided with one of two cyclists who were travelling in the same direction.
"The Suzuki then carried on without stopping at the scene of the collision.
"The cyclist, a male aged in his 50s, was taken to hospital with serious head injuries, a broken pelvis and internal bleeding."
