175 ventilators, which are used to treat people with breathing difficulties, including coronavirus, have been stolen from a lorry near Wakefield.

The police believe the machines were taken in the early hours of Sunday (16 January), when the vehicle was parked in Foxbridge Way, Normanton.

Approximately 175 of these S-Boxes, which measure about 15cms by 7cms and their modems were taken and Wakefield District Crime Team is appealing for anyone with information to contact them, so they can be recovered promptly and sent on to the NHS.
