Teenager pleads not guilty to murder of Bhim Kholi in Leicester
The 80-year-old was found with serious injuries in Braunstone Town in September
A boy's pleaded not guilty to the murder of an 80-year-old in Leicester.
Bhim Kholi was found with serious injuries after an incident near Franklin Park in Braunstone Town on 1st September, and died in hospital the following day.
The 15-year-old, who we can't name for legal reasons, appeared at Leicester Crown Court today (18/12) where he entered a not guilty plea to the charge of murder.
Earlier this week, a 12-year-old girl was charged with manslaughter. She also made an appearance in Crown Court this morning, and is set to enter a plea in the New Year.
A trial date for the boy has been set for February 2025.
