Lewis Capaldi has cancelled all his upcoming commitments, so he can "rest and recover" before Glastonbury Festival.

The Scottish pop star is set to appear on the Pyramid Stage at Worthy Farm later on in June.

Between now and then, he had performances lined up in Leeds, London, Glasgow and Dublin.

All of which have now been cancelled, so he can be his "best" in Somerset.

In a statement online, he says he "hasn't been home properly since Christmas" and needs to spend time with his friends and family and do "normal life things".

His second studio album, Broken by Desire to be Heavenly Sent was released in 2022, three of which were number one hits in the UK.

Lewis says it's been an "incredible" time leading into the new album adding that "seeing all of the support from everyone has been beyond anything I could have ever dreamed".

He's also apologised to fans who planned to attend the cancelled shows. He's also apologised to fans who planned to attend the cancelled shows.
